Our commitment
At Crwys Pharmacy, we prioritise the safety and security of our staff and patients. For this reason, we have CCTV cameras throughout our premises, including the consultation room.
Where we have CCTV
Cameras are placed in key areas of the pharmacy, including the entrance, main dispensing and shop areas, and the consultation room.
Why we use CCTV
- To protect our staff and patients.
- To prevent and deter criminal activity.
- To help resolve any incidents that may occur on the premises.
Privacy and access
All CCTV footage is treated as private and confidential. Only authorised personnel can access the footage, and it is not shared with third parties unless required by law.
Data handling
Footage is stored securely, retained only for as long as necessary, and then deleted securely in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
