Crwys Pharmacy is an independent, family-run pharmacy. It was owned and grown by Rashad and Sahar Ameer over more than 40 years, serving the residents, students and families around Crwys Road. Since day one, we have believed that great pharmacy is a conversation, not a transaction.
Mustafa took over as manager after Rashad retired in November 2013, and became superintendent pharmacist in July 2014. We invest in NHS and private clinical services so more of your health can be looked after right here, without waiting for a GP appointment. From sore throats and urinary tract infections to emergency prescriptions, our team is trained to help.
The warm welcome, we like to think, is on the house.
The people behind the counter
Manager since November 2013 and superintendent since July 2014. Leads clinical direction at Crwys Pharmacy and utilises technology to improve patient outcomes. Led the pharmacy's first major refit.
Known to patients as Mrs Ameer, she has been the heart of the pharmacy since day one. Over more than 40 years she has worked over the counter providing advice and care, managed patient outcomes, and built a deep knowledge of products and patient management.
Rashad founded Crwys Pharmacy with Sahar and grew it as an independent, family-run pharmacy serving the Cardiff community for over 40 years. He retired in November 2013 and remains proud of the pharmacy's continued care.
